PATRIOT PARTY CANDIDATE TODD CARSON ENDS CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN, ENDORSES ALEXANDER PORTELLI FOR CONGRESS

“The stakes are too high for divided opposition to the political establishment.”

NEW YORK: In a major development in the race for New York’s 19th Congressional District, Patriot Party candidate Todd Carson announced today that he is suspending his campaign and officially endorsing Republican congressional candidate Alexander Portelli.
Carson stated that after months of watching the race unfold, he believes Portelli is the strongest candidate willing to directly confront the political establishment, skyrocketing energy costs, inflation, federal debt, and what both men describe as the abandonment of working-class Americans.

“This campaign was never about ego or titles,” Carson said. “It was about the future of our country and standing up for ordinary Americans who feel politically homeless.

After speaking with Alexander Portelli and reviewing his platform, I believe he is the candidate most willing to challenge the system that has failed Upstate New York for decades. I am proud to endorse him for Congress.”

Portelli thanked Carson for the endorsement and praised him for putting principle ahead of politics.
“Todd Carson understands what so many voters across Upstate New York understand: the political establishment has stopped listening to the people,” Portelli said.

“This campaign is bringing together Republicans, independents, working families, small business owners, farmers, tradesmen, and people who are simply tired of watching New York decline while politicians enrich themselves.”

Portelli’s campaign has focused heavily on kicking out foreign energy companies, reviving domestic manufacturing through tax repeals and tariffs, opposing foreign influence over our political process, restoring civil liberties, reducing federal spending, and rebuilding the economic foundation of Upstate New York.
Carson said his supporters deserve a candidate who is willing to aggressively challenge both parties when necessary.

“Alexander Portelli has shown he is willing to speak plainly, take political risks, and stand firm under pressure,” Carson added. “That matters in a time when most politicians carefully script every word and tell voters only what consultants approve.”

The Portelli campaign said the endorsement represents growing momentum among voters frustrated with career politicians and traditional party structures.

“This race is becoming bigger than party labels,” Portelli said. “People are uniting around the idea that New York and America can still be saved, but only if citizens are willing to stand up and fight for it.”

Foreign companies have no right to serve us. NYSEG and National Grid must have their contracts to service NY ended, their current assets in New York (valued at $40 billion) bought out, and the servicing of utilities broken up to county, bi-county and tri-county utilities. Then AMERICAN small businesses and companies given low interest, federally backed industrial loans to rebuild our private sector's energy industry.
We want hydropower, nuclear, oil and gas. And we want energy sovereignty! 🇺🇸

When the time came to be brave and stand up for what was right, my opponents were silent. But I wasn't.
I was openly against the covid19 lockdowns and vaccine mandates from the start, even while being attacked by both Republicans and Democrats for it.
My opponents never spoke out against either, with only one finally jumping on the anti-lockdown bandwagon years later.
Who do you want in Congress? Somebody who will tuck tail and obey if they try again? Or somebody who will resist the pressure to stand up for what's right?
Vote wisely. Your freedom could be at stake.

Just to be clear; I have nothing personal against my opponents. My criticism of them is all on policy.
A large reason I decided to run is because I became tired of things getting worse and worse every year, and our political leaders doing nothing but endless photo ops while being afraid to take clear policy stances that could turn people off and cost them votes.
I believe in ending all foreign aid. I won't vote for a spending bill that includes it.
What are my opponents' positions?
I support ending H1B visas for workers to Walmart and Amazon, used to skip hiring Americans down the road. What do my opponents think?
I support federally backed low interest loans to build hydropower and over a dozen nuclear reactors in counties that want them.
What do my opponents think?
Do not vote for a candidate because he or she does alot of photo ops at the pancake breakfast or memorial day parade.
Vote because they have clear positions that are what we need in our lives.

It is very clear now why Governor Kathy Hochul does not want to fix the energy crisis. She and her party's State Committee are being paid hand over fist in donations by the foreign energy corporations.
This is sad that the people of New York must suffer with high energy bills due to her greed and negligence.
While I still believe the FED must finance through low interest industrial loans a total buildout of 21st century energy infrastructure across New York, of hydropower, nuclear, oil and gas, I also stand by my stance that Avangrid and National Grid can have no part in that energy future.

Do you believe in my platform and principles and the things I'm fighting for? Well being an independent or unaffiliated voter doesn't help. Registering Republican does!
I need help, and only registered Republicans can do it.
This movement will require more than just my run for Congress.
So if you believe in repealing the income tax like it was for most of our history, ending all foreign aid and taking care of our neighbors first here at home, and kicking out these foreign energy companies NYSEG and National, then enroll as a Republican and be ready for the next phases of this fight 🇺🇸

WHY IS THE LAW FIRM OF WHICH NOT ONE BUT TWO REPUBLICAN LEADERS ARE PARTNERS DONATING TO FRIENDS FOR KATHY HOCHUL COMMITTEE, WHILE RECEIVING STATE CONTRACTS?

Now there are TWO Republican leaders linked to the law firm donating to Kathy Hochul!

I have since learned that the law firm which donates to Friends For Kathy Hochul Committee, and receives millions of dollars in State Contracts, Barclay Damon LLP, has more New York Republican politicians listed as Partners with the firm than only Assemblyman Will Barclay.

Republican New York State Senator Tom O'Mara is also a Partner at Barclay Damon LLP!

So why is a law firm of which TWO Republican political leaders are Partners at donating consistently to Friends For Kathy Hochul Committee?

And before anyone says "they donate to both sides!" Let me point something else out.

While Barclay Damon LLP has donated tens of thousands to Governor Kathy Hochul, can anyone guess how much Barclay Damon LLP donated to Bruce Blakeman?

Barclay Damon LLP has donated absolutely nothing to Bruce Blakeman, as of the latest campaign donation filings available.

Barclay Damon LLP, so important to Republican Assemblyman Will Barclay, it has "Barclay" in the name, has not even donated a penny to Bruce Blakeman.

But they DID donate $5000 to Blakeman's rivals, the Long Island Democrats of the Suffolk County Democrat Committee, as well as $10,000 to the State Democrat Committee.

Guys, the latest tricks by the RINO Establishment is falsely "updating" well known election information websites falsely stating I am a Democrat.
Instead of adopting the conservative positions I am openly championing, the vile, vicious political hacks prefer dirty tricks and sabotage.
My opponents have NO STANCES on anything. My Primary opponent literally has not one openly conservative position.
My Democrat opponent is almost as bad.
They think they can play it safe the entire time and that We The People will be too stupid to notice.
Don't be fooled by their tricks. I'm a Republican, I am running in the Republican Primary, and I am fighting for the traditional Republican values that our founders would also be fighting for.

We want an end to spending $2 trillion a year more than we have.

We want a balanced budget.

We want an end to our tax money going overseas.

We want income tax repeal for the majority of Americans paid for with federal downsizing to levels our parents had when they were born.

And we want these foreign energy companies GONE.
