A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our August meeting! We had a great time chatting about romantasy, sharing what we've been reading, and adding even more books to our TBRs.

SPL welcomes back Sue Flanagan of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, to present our annual Medicare program. This presentation and discussion is geared towards individuals approaching Medicare eligibility. Topics covered include health insurance information outside of employer-sponsored coverage, including an explanation of Medicare, the Medicare enrollment timeline, Medigap and Medicare Advantage plans, programs available to early retirees, and COBRA.

A Sharon resident, Sue Flanagan is a Senior Plan Consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. She has more than 20 years' experience in the health insurance industry with a focus on Medicare products, and speaks to many audiences each year on Medicare and related products.
