Our Children's Program has grown significantly, and we’re working to refresh our children’s counseling room into a warm, welcoming space where kids can feel safe as they process difficult experiences.

Children who have experienced trauma deserve comfort, care, and a space designed with their healing in mind. From cozy seating and sensory tools to calming décor and age-appropriate activities, every item can help make a meaningful difference.

We’re proud to celebrate the grand opening of the Brandi Montgomery House in Grove City.

Brandi’s legacy lives on through this home—a safe haven for individuals and families affected by domestic and sexual violence.

We are deeply grateful to the Brandi Montgomery Family, Junior Republic, City Area United Way , our wonderful Aware staff and the many community partners who made this meaningful project a reality. Together, we are creating safety, hope, and healing for survivors.

As students head back to school, it's the perfect time to talk about healthy relationships.

Learning about respect, consent, healthy boundaries, and dating violence prevention helps young people build safer relationships both now and in the future.

It's also important for students to know how to recognize warning signs and support a friend who may need help.

AWARE offers age-appropriate prevention education for middle school, high school, and college students, including Safe Dates and other youth-focused programs designed to encourage healthy relationships and respectful communication.
