Fall classes are now open for registration! Sign up for yoga, stained glass classes, beginner canning, paint nights, and more. You can sign up for classes on our website, by calling our office, or by mailing in the registration form in the brochure.

COMMUNITY SOLAR PARTNERSHIP OFFERS ELECTRICTY SAVINGS AND LOCAL SUPPORT

Shapleigh residents and local businesses can now secure up to 15% in annual electricity savings through a new community solar partnership with Ampion Renewable Energy. Community Solar subscribers are assigned to a local solar farm, so there are no panel installations or upfront costs. This town initiative allows electricity customers to leverage the benefits of clean energy produced right here in Maine, while continuing to receive electricity as normal from Central Maine Power.

Beginning September 1st, for every Shapleigh subscriber who joins through ampion.net/shapleigh, Ampion will make a $100 donation on their behalf to the Town of Shapleigh’s Fuel Assistance Fund

With no upfront costs and nothing to install, Community Solar is the easiest way to benefit from solar energy.
