Dear Taxpayers,

I sincerely apologize for the delay in processing some tax payments. I was bedridden for approximately two weeks and was unable to sit up or move around enough to work. I am finally able to sit up and move around again, although I am still limited in what I can do at times.

I am currently working through the tax payments and trying to have all tax money deposited by Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The early and mid-August payments are already prepared for deposit, and I am currently working through the remaining mail so I can hopefully get another deposit ready for the night deposit.

Unfortunately, today's power outage is making things a little more difficult. The current estimate is that power will hopefully be restored around 8:30 PM, as long as the outage is not extended.

I am doing everything I can to get caught up as quickly as possible. Once I finish processing the remaining payments and get everything deposited, I will post another update here on Facebook.

📢 Notice for East Cameron Township Residents

I wanted to let everyone know that I am currently having trouble reaching landline phone numbers. When I try to call many landlines, I receive a busy signal. My best guess is that this may be related to the Pentel Data issues affecting Service Electric customers.

If I have been trying to return your call and you haven't heard from me, this may be the reason. So far, I have not had any problems calling or receiving calls from cell phones.

School tax bills are now being collected.

July 23 and August 13
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Please bring your original tax bill with your payment. If paying with cash, exact cash only as no change can be provided.

A secure drop box is located on the left-hand side of the door at the green East Cameron Township Building. If you use the drop box, please send me a text message to let me know you dropped off your payment so I can retrieve it the next time I stop at the Township Building.

➡️ There is also a mail slot to the left of the door if you would like to drop your payment off.

⚠️ West Cameron Township residents:
If you are dropping off a West Cameron payment at this location, please make sure “W” or “West” is clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.
If you’re using a windowed envelope, please ensure “West” is visible through the window.
