...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY EVENING...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Fire
Weather Watch, which is in effect from Wednesday morning through
Wednesday evening.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* TIMING...Minimum Relative Humidity and Peak winds between 1 pm and
7 pm.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 24 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...In the lower 50s.

* LIGHTNING...

* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions possible.
Increased risk for rapid wildfire growth and spread.
Prescribed burns may get out of control.

* IMPACTS...Rapid wildfire growth and spread expected.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

In the past 10 days Rescue 62 operates at its 4th working fire. In Shamokin, East Cameron Twp, Mount Carmel and last evening in Coal Twp.

10-1-18 At around 0300 Box 4(Allison Hill) was dispatched to Wilson Parkway for a reported structure fire with possible entrapment sending The Squad,Wagon 4,Tower 1 & Ladder 2.HPD Arrived with smoke showing and confirmed entrapment.Tower 1 arrived and quickly located the trapped victim in heavy smoke, on the 2nd floor.She was rescued by Truckmen,Zimmerman(7) and E-Man(15).The Squad and Wagon 4 made quick work of a basement fire.The "Bravo" Platoon at work with Chauffeur Peskie(69),Lt.Zavrel(OT) and Pipeman Z.Miller(13).
