City of Shamokin will never forget!

Thank you to all volunteers who helped with our 9/11 memorial.

A special thanks to everyone involved in creating our city’s new monument, Craig Rhodes, Joe Weikel, Brian Persing, Dave Tamkus, Kathy Vetovich, Kevin Richardson, the firefighters from Liberty, Friendship and Rescue Fire Companies, Dan Billig, Affordable Off-Road, and anyone we may have missed.

Meet the Candidate: Mike Duganitz is a family man with a passion for making a difference in our small coal town! He’s involved in several organizations for the betterment of Shamokin such as Hillside Coaches, FAR Better Together, Citizens For a Better Community, SABER, Rotary, and SYBL to name a few.

When asked for one sentence as to why he is running for Shamokin City Council he said “Because I want to do, I’m tired of hearing people complain without action… I want to do.”

Mike is running for city council because he sees that a change is needed and he is up to the task! Mike is asking for your support in the upcoming election!
