Olive Stephens Elementary Olive Stephens Elementary's mission is to build a community of learners for life. All posts will be consistent with Denton ISD's policies and guidelines.

Opened in 2008, our school is named after Olive Stephens, who served the town of Shady Shores as mayor for nearly four decades. We believe that ensuring high levels of success for all students requires a collaborative effort between staff, parents, students, and community members. We are thankful for the continued support of all of our stakeholders as we "build a community of learners for life!"

Deep in the Heart of Denton Field Trip! 💙

What an unforgettable evening on the Denton Square last night!

Our participating students experienced the best of our community:
🏢 Viewed the courthouse from the top of the Wells Fargo building
📚 Completed the Denton Public Library’s story walk around the square
🌮 Enjoyed dinner at El Taco H
🍦 Topped it all off with ice cream from Beth Marie’s

The smiles and excitement were nonstop! This was such a special opportunity for our Bulldogs to explore and appreciate our wonderful city.

A huge thank you to Mr. Bell and all the community partners who made this amazing night possible!

These two dedicated professionals work with our Bulldog students every day to support speech, language, and communication development! From articulation therapy to language intervention and social communication skills, they provide expert, individualized support that helps our students express themselves with confidence! 💙
