Helping Kids See a Brighter Future!

A child’s vision plays an important role in learning and development, yet vision problems can go undetected because kids may not realize they aren’t seeing clearly.
This week, the Seymour Lions helped change that by conducting vision screenings at Rock Ledge Elementary and Black Creek Elementary through the Wisconsin Lions Foundation Vision Screening Project.
Using advanced camera technology, Lions volunteers can screen for potential vision issues in just seconds, helping families identify concerns early and seek professional care when needed. This is the third year the Seymour Lions have provided this service to our school district.
We’re proud to see our Lions serving local students and helping give kids the opportunity to see clearly and succeed! 🦁👀❤️

The night was filled with fun, laughter, and incredible energy! From the creative costumes and awesome decorations to all the smiles and positive vibes, it was so much fun seeing everyone come together and enjoy the evening. 🎉💡

Congratulations to John Nagel on being honored with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award! 🦁🏆

A longtime Seymour Lion, John has dedicated countless hours to serving his club and community. Most recently, he was the driving force behind the construction of the new Lions Park Pavilion, helping turn a vision for a community gathering space into reality.

Named for Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions International, the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award was established in 1973 and represents the highest form of recognition for service to Lions. The award embodies the humanitarian ideals at the heart of Lionism and recognizes individuals whose service makes a meaningful difference in their club and community.

John's commitment to service is a wonderful example of those ideals in action. His leadership, dedication, and willingness to get things done have made a lasting impact on the Seymour community.

Today was about recognizing the people who helped turn a vision for Lions Park into a reality. 🦁

We had a wonderful turnout for the Seymour Lions Club’s dedication ceremony for the new Lions Park Pavilion. It was an opportunity to recognize and thank the many individuals, organizations, and supporters who helped make this project possible.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who shared their time, talents, resources, and financial support along the way. This pavilion is a great example of what can be accomplished when a community comes together.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing this project to life and creating a space our community can enjoy for years to come!

HYGIENE DRIVE THIS SATURDAY OCT 3rd!
Support Seymour’s local Community 2000.
Crystal Springs Golf Course - Seymour.
This event will coincide with our GLOW GOLF OUTING, if you're golfing, you can earn EXTRA raffle tickets by donating at registration!
Examples of what is needed:
• Shampoo & conditioner (even ones specific for kids)
• Male 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 (shampoo, body wash, conditioner)
• Body wash
• Shower / bath loofa’s / scrunchies etc
• Liquid hand soap (kitchen or bathroom)
• Shaving cream (male or female) and disposable razors
• Toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss (no mouthwash please)
• Deodorant /antiperspirant (male & female varieties)
