There are so many individuals and businesses to thank for making our craft fair fundraiser a success. I hope I don't miss anyone. Thank you to our craft fair committee who put a lot of work into putting this event together. Especially, Katie Katch for being the committee chair. Thank you to Seymour City& Rural Firefighters and Seymour Rescue members along with family and friends who helped us set up and take down the event, helped during the event and helped vendors bring their goods in and out of the school.

Thank you to the Seymour School District for allowing us to use the gym and commons on a busy Homecoming weekend. Thank you, Mel's Coffee and Bear Creek BBQ for being on site to provide food and beverages during the event. Thank you to JSA Coffee for roasting the Rescue Blend coffee for us to sell.

Thank you to the vendors who had an amazing selection of foods and crafts to offer to shoppers. Thank you to our event sponsors and basket raffle donors.

Of course, thank you to those who supported Seymour EMS by attending our event. Profits from our fundraiser go toward purchasing equipment for Seymour Rescue.

Unless we are out on rescue calls, Seymour Rescue will be in the parade complete with candy. Hope to see you on the parade route! Be sure to check out all the other activities that the HOTH committee worked hard to put together.

🍔 BURGERFEST WEEKEND UPDATE! 🍔

The parade will follow the same route as it does every year. It begins at Lincoln Street, travels down Main Street and finishes near Highway G/Pearl Street. The parade is happening RAIN OR SHINE! ☔️☀️

Hot-air balloon activities on Friday and Saturday will be determined by our head pilot based on the most current weather conditions. We understand that waiting for a final decision can be frustrating, but balloons are completely weather-dependent, and the safety of our pilots, crews and guests must always come first.

Everything else is moving forward as planned! Our downtown festival area is covered with tents, so put on your favorite trucker hat, grab your BurgerFest T-shirt and come spend the day with us!

Our incredible volunteers have worked for 13 months to bring this festival to our community, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone to BurgerFest 2026! 🍔❤️

Rain or shine downtown Depot Street is almost ready to party!

Seymour EMS was chosen to receive one of the 2026 Rewarding Responder Grants offered through the WE Energies Foundation. Our service is working to raise funds to purchase a Lucas CPR device for our second ambulance. This $2,000 grant will help us to reach that goal. Thank you, WE Energies for supporting our local EMS Service.
