Friends of the Jackson County Public Library -Seymour, Indiana The Friends is a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour, Crothersville, Medora.

Our focus is on raising funds to help provide for materials and activities on behalf of the adult, teen, and children's programs, its patrons, and the community. Our funds come from money raised through membership dues, Oktoberfest parking, book sales and donations which helps to fund adult, teen and children's programs and other library projects. We always accept new and gently used donation of b

ooks during regular library hours.

*The Board of Directors meets six times yearly to oversee the Book Cellar, Book Nook, review funding requests, and prepare for the annual meeting.

These are the storage shelves in the Book Cellar at the Seymour Library after stocking the tables for this weekend's sale.

We need your help! Besides withdrawn materials from the library's collection, we also accept donations during regular library hours in Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora. Think of us when finishing up your spring cleaning or when you do a summer purge. All proceeds benefit library programs and services.
