After earning her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University, Jennifer continued her education at Notre Dame Law School where she received her Juris Doctor (J.D.). She has lived in Seymour with her family for fourteen years. She has been a Girl Scout Leader, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of Seymour Lion's Club, a Board Member of Patsy's House, a community volunteer, a

foster parent, and an advocate for children in court. She was the Baylor County Attorney from 2011-2016 an served as an Assistant District Attorney from 2015-2016. She has served the citizens of the 50th District as the District Attorney since January 1, 2017.
