Complete Pest Control has scheduled the spraying for mosquitos. Friday, June 19th they will spray the city's three parks: South Park, Lee Binley Park and the Jimmy Crisp Park (square). On Thursday, July 2nd they will spray the entire city. Both applications will take place over night.

This dog was picked up this morning. To claim it please call City Hall during regular business hours. City Hall will be closed Friday. Dogs cannot be claimed outside of regular hours. City Hall is open 7:00-5:30

🦟 Mosquito Control Update 🦟

The City of Seymour will once again be spraying for mosquitoes using the garlic-based mosquito control treatment that was used successfully last year. It is safe for people and pets.

At this time, we do not have a scheduled spraying date. As soon as a date has been finalized, we will notify the public through Facebook and the message alert system. You can call City Hall to be added to the message alert system.

In addition, the City will be providing two FREE mosquito dunks per household beginning Thursday, June 25th. Mosquito dunks help prevent mosquitoes from breeding in standing water around your property.

Mosquito dunks must be picked up at Seymour City Hall during normal business hours while supplies last.

Please remember to eliminate standing water around your home, including old tires, buckets, flower pots, and other containers, to help reduce mosquito breeding areas.
