We elect a leadership team that makes up a Board of Directors. Members become more actively involved by working on committees. These committees are membership, communication, and events. ☕ What a fantastic turnout at this month's Breakfast Buzz! More than 50 community members joined us for a morning of networking, learning, and supporting local businesses. A big thank you to our co-hosts, The Mustard Seed and Under the Tree Media, for sharing their stories and expertise.

We kicked off the morning with a great Fuel for Thought from Roger with Sidecar Inn, who reminded us that one of the best forms of marketing is simply going above and beyond for your customers. Exceptional service creates lasting impressions and referrals that no advertising budget can buy.

The Mustard Seed then shared their story of moving from Louisiana to Seymour and creating a business that has become much more than a wedding venue. Today, they host weddings, Christian retreats, special needs retreats, family reunions, and vacations. With eight cabins on-site, they provide a unique destination experience right here in our community. They also offer a 25% discount to Seymour Area Chamber members.

Under the Tree Media followed by showcasing how they partnered with The Mustard Seed to help tell their story through video and digital marketing. Founded by two college friends with a passion for filmmaking, they emphasized the importance of creating a strong digital footprint. Their message was simple: video allows people to see what you do, experience your personality, and connect with your business before they ever walk through the door.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the morning a success!

📅 Our next Breakfast Buzz will be July 16 at Seymour Heights Christian Church, hosted by Tour Guide Mandy. Doors open at 8:00 AM.

🧀 We will also be collecting boxes of macaroni and cheese at the July meeting to support Cross Food Ministry.

🎉🎱 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼! 🎱🎉
The Seymour Area Chamber of Commerce had an incredible time partnering with our friends at Renaissance Square Apartments for a fun-filled evening of Bingo!
One thing we learned quickly—this group takes their Bingo VERY seriously! 😄 We enjoyed a lot of laughs, great fellowship, and some friendly competition throughout the evening.
Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who joined us for the event. We are especially grateful to the businesses and individuals who donated prizes to help make the night a success.

A special thank you goes to Anna Claire and Ava, who stepped up and did a fantastic job calling Bingo for us. We couldn't have done it without you!
