Friends of Seymour Library Mission Statement

Friends of Seymour Library exists to advocate for and provide high quality and accessible library facilities, services and programs that enhance the intellectual and cultural life and literacy of the residents of the greater Seymour community. The Seymour Branch of the Sevier County Public Library System (SCPLS) is unique because it serves patrons who

live in three counties (Blount, Knox & Sevier). More than a collection of books and periodicals, the Seymour Library provides a gathering place for a community without a town hall, computer access for students, researchers, and job seekers, as well as engaging programs for all ages PLUS a cozy reading area!
