We are just one month away from Sevier County Celebrates America 250! 🇺🇸

Join us on Friday, June 26, beginning at 6:30 PM at the historic Sevier County Courthouse as we come together to celebrate our nation’s history, heritage, and enduring spirit. This free, family-friendly event will feature activities for all ages, including kids' activities and games, a stilt walker, patriotic wagon rides, and a special ceremony honoring America 250.

Enjoy a special performance by recording artist and NBC’s The Voice Season 12 winner, Chris Blue, at 7:45 PM, followed by a patriotic fireworks show at dusk! 🎇🎆

Bring your family, show your American pride, and be part of this memorable evening as Sevier County kicks off a weeklong celebration of America 250.

Kudos to Lisa Crowell Rutherford County clerk for orchestrating an extraordinary Clerks conference in Murfreesboro! Together, we gained invaluable insights, shared joyous laughter, celebrated milestones, and even shed tears. . My warmest wishes go out to my fellow clerk family members who are retiring or embarking on new journeys – may your paths be filled with success. I'm grateful for the mentorship and guidance I've received from each of you. To my fellow clerk family members, until we meet again, remember we are always just a message or call away.

Join us for the annual Veterans Memorial on Monday, May 25, at 11:00 AM on the Courthouse lawn as we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This event is hosted by Sevier County Veterans Services along with American Legion Posts, VFW Posts, Marine Corps League, Disabled American Veterans Chapter, and the Veterans Military Honor Guard of Pigeon Forge.

The Sevier County Courthouse, Rex Henry Ogle Courts Building, County Government Offices, Sheriff’s Administrative Offices, and Sevier County Residential Convenience Centers will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

The Center View and Wears Valley Multipurpose Convenience Centers will be open as normal, from 8 AM to 6 PM.
