Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to today’s community clean-up! 4 CONS partnered with our local Air Force Sergeants Association, the City of Goldsboro Public Works, the Goldsboro Police Department and Goldsboro Adopt-a-Block to ensure not only would this event be successful but also safe. In total today, we collected 35 55-gallon trash bags, 12 shopping carts and a copious amount of random large items.

Kudos to SSgt Alison Gandulla & SSgt Bryce Lowe for leading this effort! 🎉

Airman 1st Class Lauren Kaae is a vital member of the 4th Contracting Squadron and a true force enabler for the .

As a contracting specialist, she manages support contracts that enhance readiness and mission capability across the wing. Her leadership secured tactical field training support for the 352nd Special Warfare Training Squadron—directly contributing to combat certification for special operations forces.

She also led the purchase of aircraft effects for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, shaping the headline event for the open house. ✈️

When a delay in transportation equipment threatened mobility, Kaae used expert negotiation skills to keep operations on track—supporting training that produces combat-ready fighter pilots. 💪

🎓 She recently completed her Community College of the Air Force degree in contracts management, reflecting her commitment to excellence.
