Winter Storm Advisory Possibility of Substantial snowfall Saturday evening 1/24/26 thru Monday afternoon 1/26/26

DANGER: Travel Will Be Hazardous if not impossible!

• Avoid Travel: Roads could become snow-covered, icy, and dangerous, with heavy snowfall and near-zero visibility during snow squalls.

• Allow Crews Space: Stay off the roads so snowplows, and emergency crews can work safely.

Prepare for Cold & Windy Conditions

• Protect Yourself: Dress in layers, cover exposed skin, and ensure pets are protected.

• Power Outages: Be prepared for potential power outages; charge electronics and have flashlights ready.

• Slow Down: Reduce speed and increase following distance.

Join us in the Village for our annual Light Up Night tonight from 5pm until 10pm. We at the Sewickley Police Department are excited to officially ring in the holidays!

We must stress that we expect numerous people throughout the borough tonight. Please use EXTREME caution while driving through town and expect numerous roads to be closed while the event is taking place.
