What do the Fifa World Cup and volunteering have in common?⚽

🤝TEAMWORK🤝

Like soccer (football), volunteering and making a difference in your community is a team effort — everyone brings different skills and ideas to generate lasting impact. Just like the world's greatest players show up for their teams, your community needs YOU on the field!

When a child is without a safe and stable place to call home, they are less likely to graduate high school and more likely to experience homelessness later in life.

You can help is needed to change these odds by making a monetary donation or starting a collection of high-need items. With your involvement, you can make a positive impact on the life of a child who would otherwise be without shelter.

To help a teenager in need make it through this difficult time, you can collect the following in a care kit:

• Backpacks
• Small bottles of Dawn dish soap
• First aid kits
• Tissues
• Thermal socks
• Hairbrushes & combs
• Travel-size toiletries
• Deodorant
• Lip balm
• Nail care items
• Menstrual pads
• Nail care items
• Lotion
• Travel-size sunscreen
• Dry shampoo
• Baby wipes
• Hand sanitizer

Thank you for uplifting a teenager who is facing uncertain circumstances and improving their odds for a brighter future.

We love joining our Jersey Cares team for corporate projects! Last week we helped them prep and facilitate Conner Strong & Buckelew’s custom project in Camden, where over 100 volunteers came together in service at H.B. Wilson School. Volunteers participated in a number of projects including murals throughout the school, youth workshops, and revitalization in the playground.

Let Jersey Cares plan your group’s next service day! Details at the link in our bio.
