We manage the Sevierville Community Center and Civic Center and numerous city parks. We offers camps, clinics and program for all ages.

What: Outdoor Family Aquatic Center Closed for Season
Where: Sevierville City Park, 1005 Park Road
When: September 2, 2026

Due to the unavailability of staff, the outdoor Family Aquatic Center at City Park will not be open as originally scheduled this Saturday, September 5, 2026, and is now closed for the 2026 season.

The Family Aquatic Center will reopen for the 2027 season Memorial Day weekend.

What: Registration Open For Fall Youth Basketball Clinics
Where: Sevierville Parks and Recreation
When: Open Through September 8, 2026

The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for fall youth basketball clinics. The first session will begin on September 9, 2026. Each clinic includes three sessions. Clinics will offer two age groups, 7-9 years old and 10-12 years old.

The cost of each clinic is $40 per participant, which includes all three sessions. Each clinic is limited to eight participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Session dates are September 9, 16, and 23. The 7-9 year old age group will meet from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and the 10-12 year old age group will meet from 6:45 p.m.-7:45 p.m.

What: Fall Pickleball Ladder League Registration Announced
Where: Sevierville Parks and Recreation
When: Registration begins August 21

The City of Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department will begin accepting registration for the upcoming fall pickleball ladder league on Friday, August 21. The registration deadline is Monday, September 7.

The cost per player is $10.00. Participants may choose from four different play days and times to play matches. Play will be weekly for eight weeks, starting the week of September 14 and ending November 8. Skill divisions will be 2.5-3.4 and 3.4-4.0. T-shirts will be awarded to the top two finishers in each league.

What: Sevierville Bowling Center Closing for Equipment Installation
Where: Sevierville Community Center, 200 Gary Wade Boulevard
When: Tuesday, August 11-Friday, August 14, 2026

The City of Sevierville Bowling Center will be closed Tuesday, August 11-Friday, August 14, 2026, for installation of a new scoring system. The Bowling Center is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, August 15 for regular hours of operation. 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.

What: Fall Youth Baseball and Softball Registration
Where: Registration available at the Community Center or online
When: Registration period is July 2-August 5, 2026

The Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation will begin accepting youth baseball and softball registration and entry fees for the 2026 Smoky Mountain Youth Baseball (SMYB) Fall season on July 2. The season is scheduled to begin August 24 and end in mid-October.

The registration deadline is August 5. Registration is available online at https://sevierville.recdesk.com/Community/Program. Registration forms and information will also be available at the Sevierville Community Center Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

Baseball leagues are open to children 3-12 years old. Girls’ softball is open to ages 9-12 years old. The age date cut off for each age group is May 1, 2026. The registration fee for all ages is $35.00/child ($5.00 discount for each additional child in the same family when registering in person).

An evaluation for all players that register that aren’t already on a team from the Spring season will be held on Saturday, August 8 at Wear Farm City Park. Times for each age group evaluation will be listed in the registration packet.

Due to significant ongoing renovations at Sevierville City Park, the majority of the Fall 2026 season will be played at Wear Farm City Park in Pigeon Forge.

Large Swimming Pool at City Park Reopens Following Repairs

Repairs to a water pump at the Sevierville City Park Family Aquatic Center have been completed, allowing the large swimming pool to reopen at 1:00 p.m. today, July 2, 2026. The Family Aquatic Center will be open regular operating hours through the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
