You are invited to join us for the start of our 2026-2027 season on September 8, 2026. The program is held at The Library at Cedar Creek Lake beginning at 9:30am for refreshments and 10:00am for the program.
We are excited to welcome Ken Freehill, of the Dallas Speakers Showcase, who will present Theo of Golden. This is a current best selling book that you are sure to enjoy.
Guest are always welcomed, and members are encouraged to bring a friend.
Remember, this is not a traditional book club ,but an opportunity to be entertained and inspired by a variety of presenters, including musicians, storytellers, and other interesting and talented guests. Hope to see you there!

This month’s program promises to be special. We will be joined by William Covington, a retired history teacher who brings the Revolutionary War to life in a remarkable way. Through authentic clothing, weapons, and equipment, he will help us step back in time and experience the courage and determination of those who fought for our freedom. It is a program that will remind us of the resilient woven into our history.
Program May 12 at 9:30 for light refreshment and 10:00 am for program. The Library at Cedar Creek Lake in Seven Points. Hope you can join us.

Just a quick reminder about the Literary Club meeting Tuesday March 10th at the library in Seven Points. Doors open at 9:30 am with amazing refreshments. The meeting begins at 10:00 am.

This months program will be the very talented Shellie O’Neal, Ph.D. portraying the remarkable, multi talented F***y Crosby. F***y Crosby has written more than 8000 hymms and gospels and by the end of the 19th century, she was a household name. Can’t wait to learn all about this most amazing woman! Join us and bring a friend!

Hope you can join us at The The Cedar Creek Literary Club on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at the The Library at Cedar Creek Lake. The Panther Edition from Mabank HS will present their Christmas program. 9:30 am for light refreshments and 10:00 am for our program. They perform primarily pop music, Broadway show tunes, and of course Christmas favorites.
