Alcohol consumption while boating is not only dangerous for the operator of the vessel, but also for passengers! MWCD lake rangers in conjunction with Law enforcement agencies across the United States will heighten their focus on preventing impaired boating during the annual Operation Dry Water (ODW) weekend, set for July 4-6, 2025.
Creating a safer environment for all recreational boaters, paddlers, and waterway users is our goal and with that in mind MWCD lake rangers will offer vessel safety checks on Friday, July 4 from 2-4pm at the Seneca public boat launch ramps.
