The Republican Party was born in 1854 with a singular purpose: to end the institution of slavery that the Democratic Party defended. That founding principle is not ancient history — it is the bedrock of what the GOP has always stood for.

For decades, Black communities have been taken for granted by a party that has delivered little but dependency and broken promises. More Black Americans are now questioning that arrangement, and the political realignment unfolding is one of the most significant in modern history. The party of Lincoln was always meant to be the party of freedom for every American. That story is not over.

Hear, hear!

Richard Hudson can call himself the “Veterans’ Representative” all he wants.

But there’s a difference between talking about service and actually living it. I’ve put my blood type on my boots. I’ve left my family behind and answered the call, knowing I might not come home.

Veterans don’t need politicians who just use the title. They need someone who understands the sacrifice—and will fight for them when it matters.
