This Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) facilitated project is another great win for Oconee County and shows why we are a "Top Shelf for Business" location! We couldn't be more excited that ClearSky Health has selected us for their first rehabilitation hospital in the Carolinas. This highly sought-after project will bring a much-needed medical facility to our citizens and region, along with $35,000,000 in new investment and 100 new jobs!

A new $35 million healthcare facility is coming to Oconee County.

ClearSky Health is investing $35 million to build a new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospital in Seneca, bringing roughly 100 new healthcare jobs to Oconee County.

I’m excited about this because it matters beyond the jobs. It creates access right here at home for families who need rehabilitation care after a stroke, serious injury, or other major medical event, keeping them close to the people who love them.

Oconee County is a premier location for manufacturing not just in South Carolina, but in America! We have the fifth (5th) highest percentage of jobs in manufacturing and the tenth (10th) highest number of manufacturing jobs among South Carolina's forty-six counties.

Here are a few pics taken today that demonstrate why Oconee County is truly a "Top Shelf for Business" location. These awesome Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) facilitated projects (Meyn America's new 200,000+ SF North American Headquarters and Manufacturing Campus, Horton's 110,000 SF expansion, and Baxter Manufacturing's 35,000 SF expansion) under construction at the Oconee Industry and Technology Park (OITP) represent a combined investment of over $81 million and 233 new jobs. Additionally, the OEA announced in June that Mosdorfer will locate its North American operations at OITP. The project will bring an additional $44.5 million in investment and 107 new jobs to the park.

When these four projects are completed, OITP will be home to approximately 640 manufacturing jobs and over $200 million in private investment!
