One of the service pathways at Collins Family Ministries is Restoration, where we walk alongside children and families who have experienced profound brokenness. While brokenness can take many forms, its impact can run deep, creating trauma that affects generations.

But brokenness does not have to be the end of the story. Through Christ, there is hope for healing, restoration, and a new beginning.

This week, Kelly reflects on Romans 5:1-5 and reminds us that while life brings suffering, God tells us there is purpose in it.

Scripture teaches us to rejoice in our sufferings because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. Even in our hardest seasons, God is at work, shaping us and drawing us closer to Him.

Through our SHINE program, mentors walk alongside young adults as they navigate life after foster care. Sometimes the greatest impact comes from simply showing up, listening, encouraging, and reminding someone they are not alone.
