Due to the large amounts of rain and muddy conditions at the Oconee County Landfill, we are temporarily unable to accept stumps and logs at this time. The wet conditions are causing equipment and vehicles to get stuck, making it unsafe to process these materials.

🌳 We are still accepting brush 🌳

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while conditions improve. Please help us out by separating loads before arriving when possible.

Due to extremely muddy conditions, the Oconee County Landfill is temporarily unable to accept stumps and logs at this time.

✅ We ARE still accepting brush until the brush pad reaches capacity.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work through the weather-related conditions and continue operating as safely as possible. Please help us by separating loads before arriving if you can.

We will provide updates once conditions improve and stump/log disposal resumes. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our sites running smoothly for the community. 🌿♻️

🗑️ Got trash? We know what to do with it!

With so many new folks moving into Oconee County, we want to make sure everyone knows their options for trash and recycling.
