A quick update regarding tonight’s weather:

Desoto County is currently NOT under a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Watch however the threat for strong to severe storms will continue overnight.

Please remain weather aware and ensure that you have a means to receive severe weather alerts.

MEMA, FEMA, and the SBA will be setting up a DSA, Disaster Survivor Assistance, center in Tate County the week of April 27, 2026. This will be to assist any individuals wanting to make a claim in processing the paperwork. They will be at 107 Court St in Senatobia on Monday April 27 from 12:00-6:00 pm,
Tuesday-Friday located in 201 French's Alley (center doors) from 8:00- 6:00 pm.
Saturday hours 8:00-2:00 pm.
They also ask that you use the contact information in the press release attached to start the process.
