Public Notice-Vehicle Theft

On Saturday night into early Sunday morning, two vehicles were stolen from residents' homes in the Town of Coldwater.

One of the vehicles has been recovered; however, the second vehicle is still missing a 2015 Kia Sol with Panola Tags. The unrecovered vehicle was involved in an accident earlier in the day and will likely have noticeable front and side body damage.

At this time, we believe both vehicles were taken by the same group of suspects, and there is reason to believe they may still be here in the Town of Coldwater.

To the young teenagers and young adults involved in these types of crimes: you are putting yourselves and others in serious danger. Continuing to steal vehicles is going to result in someone getting seriously hurt or worse.

Cold Case – Help Us Bring Justice for Justin “Slim” Taylor

Justin “Slim” Taylor was murdered in 2014, and his family still deserves answers. After continued work on the case, it has now been determined to be a cold case, but we are committed to keeping this case alive until justice is served.

We are asking for the public’s help in bringing justice and closure to his family.

We believe that someone in or around Coldwater, Mississippi may have information about what happened to Justin “Slim” Taylor. No matter how small the detail may seem, it could be the key to solving this case.

We are committed to keeping this case alive until the person responsible for Justin’s death is brought to justice.
