Welcome to Woodland’s VIP Guestlist, where tonight’s spotlight shines on Ms. Liliana Suarez — an educator who brings creativity, compassion, fun, and heart to every single day. 🌟

With 17+ years of teaching and impacting lives, including 12+ years in Colombia and 5+ years in the United States, Ms. Suarez has made it her mission to help students grow, believe in themselves, and experience the joy of learning. 💙💛

📸 “Elementary Educator Who Inspires, Empowers, and Brings Learning to Life Every. Single. Day.” 📸

At Woodland, Ms. Suarez is known for bringing the energy of a true party host to her classroom experience:
🎨 The Decorator — creating warm, welcoming spaces for students
🎮 The Game Starter — making learning hands-on and interactive
💬 The Social Butterfly — building connections and spreading positivity
🎤 The Hype MC — cheering students on and celebrating their victories like they’re her own

🎊 And every great celebration has a confetti moment…
For Ms. Suarez, it’s seeing that lightbulb moment — that smile, that spark, that proud “I did it!” feeling when a student finally understands something and realizes what they’re capable of. Knowing she was part of that journey means everything to her. ✨💡

🎶 Walking onto Woodland’s red carpet to “This Is Me” by Keala Settle, Ms. Suarez reminds students every day that they deserve to feel seen, heard, confident, and capable of amazing things.

🪩 Every VIP needs a hype crew, and Ms. Suarez shared that her coworkers feel like family — supporting each other, laughing together, and bringing positive energy through every challenge and celebration along the way.

From the classroom to the VIP carpet, Ms. Suarez continues to bring the magic through creativity, resilience, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. Woodland is lucky to celebrate her today and every day! ✨

✨🎟️ FROM FIRST-YEAR TEACHER TO WOODLAND’S VIP RED CARPET 🎟️✨

Ms. Pryor may be new to the profession, but you would never know it by the confidence, heart, and skill she brings into the classroom every single day. 💙

Walking onto Woodland’s red carpet as “Students’ Biggest Cheerleader,” Ms. Pryor has quickly become known for building strong relationships, creating a welcoming classroom environment, and helping students believe in themselves from day one. Though this is only her first year as both an educator and a member of the Woodland family, she already operates with the poise, organization, and instructional capacity of a veteran teacher.

📸 “Students’ Biggest Cheerleader Walks the Red Carpet” 📸

Ms. Pryor proudly embraces the role of 🎟️ The VIP Host (a.k.a. The Relationship Builder) — the educator who makes every student feel seen, valued, supported, and celebrated. Her classroom is filled with positivity, encouragement, and meaningful connections that help students thrive both academically and emotionally.

🎊 And while she may be early in her career, her confetti moments are already shining bright:
⭐ Building powerful relationships with students during her very first year
⭐ Watching tremendous student growth unfold throughout the year
⭐ Posting some of the highest mClass growth metrics in the entire school despite joining Woodland midyear
⭐ Quickly mastering the many layers of curriculum, programming, and instructional expectations placed on educators today
⭐ Bringing creativity and innovation into her classroom instruction while maintaining high expectations for students

🪩 Every VIP needs a hype crew, and Ms. Pryor gave a huge shoutout to Carly Davis, Mary Zizzi, Jennifer Davis, Morgan Brooks, and Cherie Crews for encouraging her, supporting her, and helping make her first year unforgettable.

Though she may be new to Woodland, Ms. Pryor has already made a lasting impact through her energy, relationships, and commitment to student success. Woodland is lucky to have such a bright rising star walking our red carpet.

Teacher Appreciation Week was one big celebration at Woodland, because our educators are truly ! 🎉🍎

Throughout the week, we wanted to make sure our staff felt appreciated through energy, music, fun, and of course… plenty of food!

We kicked the week off with a schoolwide fiesta during our Books on Break Day, complete with a taco bar sponsored by the Semora Ruritan Club. 🌮📚

Day two started with coffee from Wildflower Cafe and donuts from NC Jelly, generously provided by our PTA and administration. ☕🍩

Midweek, Lamberth Memorial Baptist Church helped our educators recharge with a refreshing fruit bar. 🍓🍍

On day four, Woodland families treated our staff to a variety of delicious desserts for a well-deserved sweet treat. 🧁🍪

We wrapped up the week with a PTA-sponsored Chick-fil-A catered lunch before Mr. Johnson surprised teachers with a 30-second classroom celebration complete with music and dancing! 🎶✨

To close out an unforgettable week, our educators were celebrated with a parade and carline party filled with love and appreciation.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special. We hope this celebration showed our educators just how valued, appreciated, and celebrated they truly are! ❤️

A special thank you to our students and families who participated in our weeklong spirit days and helped make the entire week even more festive and fun! 🎉
