Community in Action at Pinellas Hope! 💜

We’re grateful for the continued generosity of Beth and her volunteer group from St. Anne’s Catholic Church, who faithfully return to our Pinellas Hope shelter each month to serve our clients.

Their “Thrift Shop” brings weather-appropriate clothing, hygiene essentials, and- just as importantly- care and compassion to those we serve. 🫶

Thank you, for continuing to show up and make a difference in the lives of our Pinellas Hope community. Your service matters.

Our gratitude runs deep for the incredible people and organizations within our community who continue to stand alongside us in support of our mission to serve and uplift our neighbors in need. 💜

This was especially meaningful as a familiar face in our community, the philanthropic leader known as theblanketguytampa, stopped by to generously donate an abundance of socks for our residents.

And we’re excited to share that this won’t be a one-time act of kindness. What began as a generous donation has grown into a meaningful partnership, with his organization committing to providing our residents with essential clothing items on a routine basis.

We are beyond grateful for this partnership and for the heart behind it. Thank you, Blanket Guy, for standing with us and helping us continue to care for our community. We’re so excited for what’s ahead!

We’re so grateful for the incredible team at Pioneer Medical for continuing to show up for our Tampa Hope clients with compassion, kindness, and care. Their team comes alongside our shelter community often, helping us creating meaningful connections and making sure our clients feel supported. 🫶

Here she shares more about the heart behind Pathways, the importance of walking alongside those in need as they work toward independence, and what it means to create meaningful pathways to a brighter future. ✨

Still not over this one. 💜🚲✨

Throwing it back to a day that was filled with so much joy, gratitude, community and HOPE as we celebrated the 3,000th bicycle donated to a Tampa Hope resident through Bikes from the Heart.

Three thousand bikes. Three thousand opportunities for greater independence, access, connection and a little more freedom to move forward.

What makes this milestone so special is knowing that every bike represents a person, a story and a new possibility. What started as a ministry in 2023 has grown into something truly extraordinary — and we are so grateful to the incredible community partners who continue to make this impact possible.

From the 5K ride and the blessing of the bikes to the inspiring words shared that day, it was a beautiful reminder that sometimes something as simple as a bicycle can help someone take their next step toward stability. 💜

We are proud to stand alongside Catholic Charities of Colorado and Catholic Charities USA in their disaster relief efforts by sending our Tampa Hope staff member, Jordan, to support their community during this difficult time.

Over the past couple of weeks, Jordan and many others have come together to collect donations, help with cleanup efforts, and provide support to those impacted by the devastating wildfires.

Not long ago, we experienced firsthand the overwhelming support of our Catholic Charities family as they stood beside us in the fight to rebuild after Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated our communities in 2024.

Now, having the opportunity to extend that same compassion, support, and sense of community to others is a true honor.

This is what it means to be a family — showing up for one another when it matters most. 💜
