We would like to thank Evie Clair Foust, Little Miss Madison County, for stopping by the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office today and bringing cookies for our Deputies.

As part of her service project, Evie chose to honor first responders in remembrance of September 11th. We appreciate her kindness, thoughtfulness, and commitment to remembering the significance of this day.

09/11/2026

Today, we remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the innocent lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger. May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the unity our country showed in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We still honor. We will never forget.
