🌳 Parks make life better, and Saturday was a great reminder of that! 🎉

We joined Lennar to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for the newly completed Amberwood Park, part of the new Amberwood residential development in Selma. Members of the City Council, City staff, SPARCS and the Selma District Chamber of Commerce also helped mark the occasion.

📍 The park is located near Floral Avenue and Dockery Avenue. This new greenspace features a playground and swings, outdoor exercise equipment, picnic areas and a basketball court, giving families another place to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. 🛝🏀

Thank you to Lennar and everyone who helped celebrate this new addition to Selma. We’re excited to see the memories that will be made here for years to come! 💚

Tomorrow is the big day! 🎉 Together with the City of Selma, we’re officially welcoming the newest park in Selma since the 1980s—right here at Amberwood!

Join us at 9:00 AM for the Ribbon Cutting celebration, then stick around to enjoy live music, mini pancakes and a whole new park to explore.
