A chance of what…

Who thinks sunshine and warmer temps will stick around this time?

I'm just going to leave this here... 🙌🏼☀️

Some 70s are possible by Friday for the southern half of Indiana, but the whole state should be basking in the 70s on Saturday with some sunshine and stiff south winds.

Another big taste of spring is on the way! Enjoy

Tornado zones for Indiana from 2PM to 9PM 🌪️

Warm fronts are notorious creating sneaky rotating storms, even if the thunderstorm itself is not crazy strong.

SETUP
A warm front will spark clusters of severe thunderstorms. Most of them will rotate, the question is how much. We think the highest spin may be in south-central Indiana.

Watch out along the southern end of a storm cluster or supercell, that is where your greatest tornado potential will be. If you are on the northside of a thunderstorm, you may get mainly rain and lightning, plus some wind and hail.

TIMING
The worst storms will likely be 2PM to 9PM. Then from 9PM to midnight there may still be some leftover storms with the cold front passing by. They should be weaker with most of the energy tapped into, but there could still spin a little bit.

Stay weather aware! We will have constant updates throughout the day.

Not everyone will get the worst storm or a tornado, that isn't possible. However expect scattered thunderstorms, some of them severe, and a few of them with tornado chances. We will likely get a tornado watch and a few warnings this afternoon and evening.
