When I made this page for our department, we had no identity. We had just switched from IHS to tribal. Designed the logo so that we had an identity. Then I thought, "maybe I should try social media. Lots of agencies do it. It'll help inform the public and people will get to know us.". I asked and got told no. I fought and while sticking to the promise of not giving medical advice and using the page to spread information, I created it. Immediately we started getting followers. People knew we existed. I was so happy to see that tribal communities were getting the information. Then it wasn't just the T.O. Nation. We had followers from new Mexico, Mexico, etc. I was a member of the tribe, working for the tribe, and helping the tribe. I was honored. This was back in about 2018. It has been 7 years and the page has helped out alot by giving the public information. All of us in the department were happy to have it. Unfortunately, as of today, I was advised the page is to be shut down. I will leave it up for a day or so in case anyone wants to say goodbye to it. It is hard for me but we are so grateful to have had this opportunity. We thank you for all the love and support you showed us. I hope that in the future this page can return but that is yet to be seen. Thank you all so much. We will continue to provide our services to everyone. We will miss reading your comments.

Stay healthy. Stay safe. 😟

Big thank you to the community of Queen's Well for having us out there for the event. And a bigger thank you to the people in the kosin that let me warm up by the coals haha. We are grateful and deeply honored to serve this reservation. For those of us that are tribal members, we are deeply honored to serve our people. Much love and respect to everyone. Stay safe, stay healthy.
