He stated he would hold on to the dog for a little while before bringing it to the shelter.

Good Morning Guadalupe County,

💡 Today is a new day filled with possibilities and we would like to shine the spotlight on a few of the many incredible dogs currently calling our shelter home.

🐶 These loving pups are eagerly awaiting a forever family to adopt or a rescue to partner with. Although we don't have a foster program in place, we've seen numerous rescues express willingness to provide financial assistance to those who would be willing to open their hearts and homes to foster one of these precious dogs.

🩺Our shelter dogs receive standard care, including flea and tick preventatives, distemper/parvo vaccines, deworming medication, and heartworm testing.

🏠 Please come visit us at the shelter and discover the joy these amazing dogs can bring to you and your family.

🐕 Already have a dog? Bring them along to help find him or her a playmate.

⭐️ From all of us at GCAS, we hope you have a great weekend and stay safe during this Memorial Day weekend.

The shelter is currently closed, but we will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.
