FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Atascosa, Bandera, Bastrop, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet,
Caldwell, Comal, De Witt, Dimmit, Edwards, Fayette, Frio,
Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr,
Kinney, Lavaca, Lee, Llano, Maverick, Medina, Real, Travis,
Uvalde, Val Verde, Williamson, Wilson and Zavala.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...There is a potential for life threatening flooding
somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in
flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their
banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Very humid tropical air and a stalling front will result in
heavy rain. Isolated pockets with rain totals of 8 inches or
more are possible with rain rates that could exceed 2 to 3
inches per hour at times.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: I-10 WESTBOUND CLOSURE 🚧

Motorists should plan for overnight and morning travel impacts this weekend.

📅 Friday, June 12 | 9:00 p.m. – Saturday, June 13 | 12:00 p.m.

The I-10 westbound main lanes will be fully closed from Walnut Branch Creek to SH 46 while crews perform roadway improvements. The westbound entrance ramp after Walnut Branch Creek will also be closed during this time.

➡️ DETOUR:
Westbound traffic will exit at SH 46, continue along the westbound frontage road, pass through the SH 46 intersection, and re-enter I-10 using the westbound entrance ramp before FM 464.

Please slow down in work zones, follow all posted detour signs, and allow extra travel time.

🚧 OVERNIGHT ROAD CLOSURE ALERT - June 12 - 13 🚧

Motorists are advised to plan ahead for an overnight closure of N. Austin Street (SH 123 B) this weekend.

📅 Friday, June 12 to Saturday, June 13
⏰ 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.

N. Austin Street (SH 123 B) will be fully closed between the I-10 eastbound and westbound frontage roads while crews pour the bridge deck as part of the ongoing I-10 construction project.

🔄 Southbound Detour:
Traffic will use the I-10 westbound frontage road to SH 46 and return via the I-10 eastbound frontage road.

🔄 Northbound Detour:
Traffic will use the I-10 eastbound frontage road to SH 123 and return via the I-10 westbound frontage road.

⚠️ Please allow extra travel time, follow posted detour signs, and use caution when traveling through construction zones.

🚧 TxDOT TRAFFIC ALERT - June 11-12 🚧

Motorists traveling westbound on I-10 should plan for overnight lane closures this week.

Beginning Thursday, June 11, at 9 p.m. through Friday, June 12, at 5 a.m., the I-10 westbound main lanes will be closed between Walnut Branch Creek and SH 46 as contractors move concrete barriers as part of ongoing construction work.

🔄 Westbound Detour:
Traffic will exit at SH 46, continue along the westbound frontage road, pass through the SH 46 intersection, and use the westbound entrance ramp before FM 464 to return to I-10.

⚠️ Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, slow down in work zones, and follow all posted detour signs.
