Guadalupe County 4-H This is the page for all Guadalupe County 4-Hers, volunteers and adult leaders looking for the latest updates on our county 4-H program!

The Texas 4-H and Youth Development Program is part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M System. Here in Guadalupe County, we serve the needs of over 6,500 youth with 4-H and curriculum enrichment programs throughout all of our communities. In the future, we hope to increase that number as well, so everyone has the opportunity to benefit from the program!

Everyone from public, private & home schools are welcome to participate! We also offer programs in Agriculture, Family and Community Health and programs from the Prairie View A&M Cooperative Extension Program. If your are interested in learning more about the 4-H program in Guadalupe County, please contact the County Extension Office to find your local 4-H club and to sign up! The 2026-2027 Texas 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador Application is now open on Tx4H https://tx4h.tamu.edu/welcome It will close on September 14th. The initial registration is simple with a payment submission. Immediately after submission, an email will be sent with a ‘Thank You’ for registering and a link to the actual application. This link cannot be sent to others to go immediately to the application without first submitting a registration and payment. The applications received without registration will be sifted out and deleted. Again, the mandatory Ambassador Orientation and Training will be set up online and access information sent out after Ambassador Selection.

Whether you're joining your first club or continuing a family tradition, this is where Texas youth grow into confident leaders, skilled hands, and engaged citizens. Explore programs, find your county, and start (or renew) your membership today.

From Santa Clara 4-H Reporter Rhett Robles: The Santa Clara 4-H Club met on September 1 with 45 people in attendance. The Club officers were installed for the 26-27 year. Holly Anderson gave the program. For the community service project, We collected snacks for the Home Art department at County Fair. In other club business, we made pickles for our club county fair entry . We
listened to a presentation from Jake Slaughter about Heifer International . We made a mosaic pot. October 6th 2026 7PM at Santa Clara City Hall.

Please note that the McQueeney-Seguin 4-H Club and Marion Homeschool 4-H Club had some kind of technical issue with charter approval, so we are working on that! If you are trying to enroll in one of these clubs, please choose another club for now and email me to let me know what club you enrolled in and if you are trying to enroll for Marion or McQueeney. Soon as those issues are fixed, I will move you to the proper club!

The 5th annual Guadalupe County Block Party was a great success! Hundreds of new folks came to get information on the 4-H program, and meet with all of our 4-H Clubs! A special things to the Guadalupe Co. Fair Association , Guadalupe County Youth Show , Guadalupe County Groundwater Conservation District, Guadalupe County Farm Bureau, and all of our clubs for coming out tonight!!!
