Hello All,

First, I want to thank each of our chaperones and volunteers that took time from their busy schedule to help the band Friday night. Without you we cannot make it all happen. Our Hawk Band did a wonderful performance during halftime at Jefferson High School.

It is going to be a busy few weeks for our students, as there is a lot happening. As we all know, two football games were cancelled because of Irma; the District has rescheduled them on two Monday night’s in October. The new dates are listed below.

This week's football game is at Blake High School on Thursday 9/28. We are in need of 10 chaperones and volunteers Please use the sign-up genius if you will be able to volunteer this Thursday night by clicking on the link. Volunteer call time is 5:30pm.

The food offer this week is from Subway and is $5.00 per order.. Mr Sorey has the order forms and because this week's game is on Thursday, the forms must be turned in by end of practice tomorrow, Tuesday 9/26, with payment due before delivery on Thursday 9/28.

Saturday 10/7 – Band Rehearse-A-Thon Starts at 10am goes until 8pm

Friday 10/13 – Away football game at King High School

Saturday 10/14 – Lions Pride Marching Band Competition at King High School

Monday 10/16 – Home football game against Plant High School

Thursday 10/19 – Fall Concert at Armwood High School Auditorium

Friday 10/20 – Home football game against Brandon High School

Volunteer report time is 5:30 pm. Must be 21 or older to chaperone, volunteers must be in middle school or older. Please complete the YES application, instructions in the google drive.
