I was invited to be guest speaker today at the Brazil Rotary Club as the Lost Creek Township Trustee and explain the duties of a township trustee and my experiences over the past 30 years serving my community as trustee. The attendees were gracious listening to me speak and they asked some great questions afterwards. I enjoyed this very much and I want to thank Judah Lohrman and Miranda Goodale of the Brazil Rotary for inviting me to speak at thier luncheon today. I always enjoy educating others of the duties of my office.

Another day spent in Noblesville, IN for a required State Board of Accounts meeting for townships. Updates given on new rules and laws for Township Trustees and staff. This is a mandatory required attended meeting by state statute. Susan and I attended and learned some important items and updates. The presenters kept the meeting lively and as enjoyable as possible. At the end of the meeting we played a game of Jeopardy to review what we learned, it actually was a fun ending to a long day. Many topics were covered today....

Susan and I attended a Township Assistance workshop today in Noblesville, IN. Even after 30 years of serving my community I learned and picked up some new and great ideas of how to help even more in my job as Township Trustee. Your never too old or too late to learn. Here are a few photos of the conference class. Next week we have attend a required State Board of Accounts meeting at the same place.

After a nearly two-year hiatus, I took my drone out for a flight this afternoon to inspect the top part of a water tower, capturing photos in the process. The flight was enjoyable, although I had to contend with height restrictions due to the drone's proximity to the airport, which limited me to 200 ft maximum. When flying farther away from the airport, the maximum allowed height increases to 400 ft. Notice the vehiches at the bottom near the tower, look small. It was a pleasant day for aerial photography. Fun hobby..
