The People's Convention supports the desire of many to restore trust and confidence in our American democracy. In this quest, we’re reaching out to every American to participate in upgrading and strengthening the in the most inclusive, expedient and efficient manner. Our TARGET AUDIENCE comprises Americans of all ages who care about their nation, their government, and their role

in the world as Americans including
• Parents, grandparents and relatives who want to protect their loved ones and make an even bigger difference during their lifetimes
• Younger Americans concerned about the present and future state of the nation, the democracy, and the world they are inheriting
• Activists, academics, and other professionals whose endorsement and support would help raise awareness of The People’s Convention and its process of inclusion, simplicity, fairness, honesty and transparency. While we support the efforts of other organizations attempting to create the nation’s first convention under Article V of the U.S. Constitution, it’s important to note that many of them appear to be
• Partisan
• Already committed to specific proposals
• Taking an approach that may takes years—and
• Most importantly, are focused on working with state legislators—rather than with the American people themselves

In stark contrast—through our online presence and workshops—The People’s Convention is
• Focused on—and includes—every American and what YOU think will make the biggest difference and letting YOU work with others in drafting your OWN proposed amendments
• Impartial
• Nonpartisan
• Designed to produced results in less than a year

Here’s what you can do that would make the biggest difference.

► You—and every other American—are invited to take our two-minute survey and tell us YOU think would make the biggest difference via http://thepeoplesconvention.org/survey

► Then, to finance this mission in ways where NO ONE CAN "BUY" THE CONVENTION PROCESS, you’re invited you to become a Member of the convention for as little as $20 per year (or volunteer two hours per year) via http://thepeoplesconvention.org/purchaseticket. And if you want to make an even bigger difference, you can join our new (satirically named) Millionaire’s or Billionaire’s Club by contributing a maximum of up to $20 a month – or $240 a year via http://thepeoplesconvention.org/donate

► Finally, as a Member of the convention, you’re invited to bring your ingenuity, creativity and generosity and join other fair-minded Americans on a "Design Team" or “States Team” creating, and having ratified, proposed amendments supported by the vast majority of Americans across the political spectrum and 75% of the state legislatures

My name is Blair Henry. I am a former Seattle corporate and prosecuting attorney, mediator, graduate school professor, and delegate to both Republican and Democratic state conventions.

Our American democratic process was designed to BRING AMERICANS TOGETHER fairly and honestly—NOT divide us.

Our nation’s founders were also STRICTLY OPPOSED to the creation of political parties as they would unnecessarily divide us.
