The 2027 Proposed Budget is available for public review.

The proposed budget maintains a flat mill levy of 74.463 while continuing to fund essential City services, invest in our infrastructure, support our employees, and plan responsibly for Sedgwick’s future.

We’re proud of the progress being made through this partnership with USD 439! 👏

It’s great to hear such positive feedback on the modified SRO program and to see everyone working together to create more opportunities for positive interactions with our students.

Yesterday, Chief Hall met with the administrative teams from USD 439 to provide a report detailing the first year of data from the Police Department's modified SRO program. We also wanted to hear constructive feedback about how it was received, and how it could be improved.

We heard Great News! The overwhelming feedback was A+!

The administrative team provided some great ideas for even more positive interaction and instructional opportunities with our students. The second year of this program's three-year develepmental period is going to be amazing!
