🦉 HOO’S READY FOR A HOOT OF A GOOD TIME? 🦉

Meet our four fabulous owls—currently perched on a shelf and proudly rocking their wild spider-plant hairdos! They’re getting ready to fly over to the auction dinner, and who knows how much their leafy locks will grow before the big night?

Curious? Then don’t just wing it—grab your tickets and come see them for yourself!

Yes, these feathered-looking friends will be for sale. How much will they cost? That’s up to you! They’ll be sitting quietly—very quietly—in our stand-alone Winter Wonderland shop. Just like in years past, you decide the price.

Come for the fun, stay for the bidding, and take home an owl that’s truly a hoot!

Just a reminder our Dinner Auction is not that far away. You need to reach out and grab your tickets. We have lots of awesome auction items to bid on. Not only that we have lots of items made and donated by board member and people just like you for sale. Don’t forget those items are donations, so you decide what you want to pay for them. No amount is too small. The animals don’t understand dollar amounts they just understand the hunger in there bellies and the medicine to make them well. They also understand the love they feel from every penny donated.

If you have an idea for a basket or you just want to donate a single item we can sell then now is the time. If you need us to pick up the items we will do our best to help with that. If that doesn’t work them you can drop them off the morning of the auction , let us know and we will let you know where. Also let us know what you are donating so we can plan.

In case we have not said it enough we want to thank you for helping us help the animals.

Can You believe its already September! Where did the summer go. We know we know its hot as can be but guess what, fall is right around the corner then guess what else? Christmas. We bet a lot of you are already thinking about it. The animals here at Warkins Wildlife Rehab sure are. They are busy little beavers thinking about what they will get for their friends and family. Also thinking about what they will get for themselves.

Well guess what else, we are ready for you to start the holiday shopping. For those that want to give an early gift why not buy a pair of Dinner Auction tickets for them. Better yet buy 4 and and go as a group. Thinking abut groups if you have a large one then why not get a whole table to yourself. What a great gift that is. And to thank you we will have a little something extra at the table for you to take home. No, we are not telling you what it is, buy the table come have dinner shop and bid and you will find out.

Cant come but still want to help. Well, you can just make a donation directly to us. Or you can even create your very own gift basket. Not good at that, its ok donate single items for us to auction off or set in our little winter wonderland shop set up right at the venue the night of the auction. So many ways to help.

This cute baby kestral was sent to us from Skyview after it was found abandoned . He is doing great eating mice and singing up a storm. Perhaps we will catch a song or to going forward. Thank you skyview for all you do.

Hi all Hank here with an update. Remember the baby great horned owl we got in , well she is growing fast and strong. She is doing so well I just wanted to share.

Hi everyone Hank here just wanting to say hello and welcome our newest rescue to Watkins. Look at those eyes so beautiful just looking right at you. I think she is saying thank you for rescuing me. This is a baby who fell out of a tree and the nice people brought her to us. She is healthy just to little to be on her own. So we will care for her until she can be released.

Look who we got in yesterday . A baby screech owl. So tiny so cute. We will care for her and love her and someday when she is old enough we will return her to the wild. Thank you all for helping us help the animals. It’s truly a team effort.
