Sedalia Optimist Club

Sedalia Optimist Club We are a volunteer group supporting local youth. We meet Tues at 12 in the Community Center - Room C.

Optimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization whose members work each day to make the future brighter by bringing out the best in children, their communities and themselves. We meet every Tuesday at Noon in the Heckart Community Center - Community Room C, 1800 W. 3rd Street, Sedalia, MO 65301. Our meetings include community speakers, fundraising planning, friendly conversation and m

It was a disappointment to cancel this year’s Haunted Hayride, but we are glad the food could still do some good. We donated it to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home to help feed the kids they serve.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we have decided to cancel the Haunted Hayride.

There is no rain date and we are looking forward to a strong return next year.

Starting west of the Missouri State Fairgrounds Grandstand, the ride is sure to be a spooky good time for everyone! Admission is $7 and includes the hayride, hot dog, chips, drinks and candy.
