It’s time to share State Fair Community College Spring 2026 Academic Honors for our dual credit/dual enrollment students. Student’s academic excellence is celebrated through three distinct honor rolls, President’s List, Dean’s List and Trustee’s List.

The President’s List designation is awarded to students who:
-Earn a perfect semester GPA of 4.0
-Complete 12 or more SFCC GPA credit hours during the semester

Today, we celebrate three incredible retirees whose impact on Smith Cotton High School will be felt for years to come.

Thank you for the time, care, patience, laughter, and dedication you poured into our students, staff, and school community. The relationships you built and the lives you touched are part of the legacy you leave behind.

Retirement is not just the end of a career — it is the celebration of a job well done and a life spent making a difference.

Congratulations Mrs. McNeeley, Ms. Barton, and Coach Gray. We are grateful for each of you and wish you nothing but the very best in this next chapter!

What a way to wrap up the school year at SCHS!

Today was filled with celebration, laughter, and so many moments that reminded us why this place is special. From student superlatives and attendance awards to incentives, recognitions, and spotlighting some of the incredible staff members who make a difference every single day. It truly felt like the perfect ending to our best year yet.

This year brought growth, challenges, memories, and countless moments of pride. Our students continued to show resilience, creativity, leadership, and school spirit, while our staff poured their hearts into making SCHS a place where students feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year unforgettable.

To our students: enjoy every moment of your summer. You’ve earned it.
To our staff: thank you for the energy, care, and commitment you bring each day. We hope this is your best summer yet.

Senior Sunset has been rescheduled for tomorrow night at 7:45 pm at Tiger Stadium.

We will look at rescheduling it for another date next week if possible.
