This morning, the City of Sebring was honored by the visit of Congressman Byron Donalds and his team. Congressman Donalds and his team stopped at Dee's Place for breakfast and took the opportunity to engage with the community. Dee’s Place was standing room only!!

We are delighted to know that candidates recognize not only Highlands County but the City of Sebring as a valuable platform for connecting with community members. Candidates have numerous locations to meet with communities across the State of Florida and knowing that Sebring has been selected, truly makes us so proud. We LOVE Sebring and are proud to see candidates expressing their admiration for our home!

❗Multiple Water Leaks in the City of Sebring❗

2:30 p.m. Update: All water leaks have been repaired! Thank you to our amazing City of Sebring Utilities Team for making repairs so quickly!

You may experience brown water, please allow time for the lines to flush and the water will clear!

1:03 p.m. Update: Our City of Sebring Utilities Crews have worked QUICKLY to make repairs to every location and water is being turned on now! You may experience brown water, please allow time for the lines to flush and the water will clear!

New Water Leak as of 1:00pm:

10:22 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026: The City of Sebring Utilities Department is currently working on multiple water leaks in the City of Sebring. Residents in the surrounding areas will be without water due to the line being shutdown to isolate the leak.

📍Spotted Owl Street - (Repaired at 1:03 p.m.)
📍Page Avenue - (Repaired at 1:03 p.m.)
📍Sebring Avenue - (Repaired at 1:03 p.m.)
📍Thompson Avenue - (Repaired at 1:03 p.m.)
📍Ho-Ti-Yee Avenue - (Repaired at 1:03 p.m.)

*Golfside Lane has been restored, and crews have made repairs to the leak this morning.

Our crews are still arriving on scene to assess the damage and begin making repairs. We will continue to update this post as we work to make repairs. Water will be off for an extended period of time. We will update as soon as the leaks have been isolated and resolved to restore water.

The City of Sebring is grateful to our dedicated crew members for working diligently through the night, and into the early morning ours to restore water!

❗️Water Main Break - Lakewood Road / Dozier Avenue❗️

5:26 p.m. 08/28/26 Original Post- Sebring Utilities is currently on scene of a Water Main Break in the area of Lakewood Road and Dozier Avenue. There are many residential properties without water at this time.

Our crews are still arriving on scene to assess the damage and begin making repairs. We will continue to update this post as we work to make repairs.
