I wanted to take a minute and talk about something that is very important to me, respecting and honoring those that served. Today is Veteran’s Day. Today we are to honor all those men and women that have served this great nation in our Armed Services. These people gave of themselves so that others can enjoy the freedoms of America. One of those freedoms is the democratic process. It is not lost on me that we are sitting here waiting the final results of our election on this sacred day.

If you consider yourself patriotic, then you must vote. That also means you must accept the results of that vote. Win or lose, the respectful transfer of power is what makes our nation special.

As a Veteran, the Father of a Veteran, I would appreciate each and everyone of you to thank the Veterans in your life. I would also like to extend that thanks to our brothers and sisters that SERVE us today as Police, Fire, and First Responders. These folks risk their lives daily for you. Do not take that for granted!

Lastly, I want to say thank you for all of those that have messenged, called, or come up to me in the grocery store, I see and appreciate everyone of you.

The polls are now closed. No matter what happens I wanted to thank all that supported me throughout this crazy process.

I am proud of the work I have done and I hope to continue along the path!

Here we go, let the waiting begin!!

I am always humbled and honored whenever I receive an endorsement. This one however, feels a little different. This group has notcied what I have been trying to do since my appointment. I really appreciate them noticing the hard work and effort!!!

Why Vote for Me? I bring leadership, business experience, budget management knowledge, and a commitment to open and direct communications with the Board. Our District needs stability, transparency and the ability to plan for the ever-changing demographics of our beloved West County.

Friends and supporters I am sad to report that someone has taken it on themselves to remove many yard signs including the ones at my house. This was a targeted attack on my home and my supporters. If you have a sign and yours is now missing please let us know. We will work to replace it.

I have reached out to my opponent asking her to communicate with her supporters to not engage in the illegal and inappropriate behavior. She has not responded as of yet.

I ask my supporters to not touch her signs and retaliate. I do not condone this behavior.

Donors for both my and my opponent’s campaigns work hard for their money. This type of behavior is an insult to those donors and I cannot condone the behavior no matter what. Let’s try our best to remember that we are all a community here. No matter our stance on school issues, we live, work, and socialize together. This is not just an attack on me or my campaign but rather on your neighbors.

It is with great pride that I announce I have received the endorsement of the Sonoma County Democratic Party. This one means a lot to me as my Grandfather was a Committee Member for the party and very active in politics during his life. I often judge myself on if he would be proud of me, today I can say I know he is!
