The Mailbox Ballard opened in 1996 and what was once a vacant building on the corner has evolved into the cornerstone of the neighborhood, deeply loved by the residents of one of Seattle's iconic neighborhoods. In 2017 the Wagenbrenners purchased The Mailbox with the goal of continuing the legacy of service to our community. From our robust retail section featuring locally-made gifts and goods, to

our fabled holiday hot cider, we’ve built a community of friends and neighbors that enriches our experience and, most days, feels like an extended family. It has truly been an honor to be a trusted partner in the neighborhood. Our stellar staff remains committed to providing our community with the very best shipping options, prices, and service.
