Sasha Summer Cousineau is a fundraising auctioneer, gala emcee, wedding officiant, fundraising and event planning consultant based in Seattle, WA. As the owner of Revel Rouser events, Sasha is living her “Occupassion” every time she gets to serve local non-profits and educational institutions. A lifelong performer, Sasha’s magnetism on the microphone commands a room, galvanizing donors to give in support of a cause. 🌸 Polaris Tickets Available Now! 🌸

We are excited to come together on Sunday, September 27th for the annual Polaris Benefit!

This year's Polaris will be a celebration of the combination of North Helpline and Hunger Intervention Program, along with introductions of our Co-Executive Directors, Darcy Buendia and Srijan Chakraborty, and the vision for North Seattle Food Connection (NSFC).

Join us on Sunday, September 27th at noon at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture for a Garden Party themed luncheon Polaris event. Together, we'll raise funds for a better future for all of our neighbors and make sure everyone in our community has a roof over their head and a meal on their plate.

NO Food Bank Distribution at the Lake City Location on September 9th, 10th, and 12th due to renovations.

The office WILL be open those days from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM.

EXTRA Food Bank Distribution at the Bitter Lake Location on Wednesday, September 9th from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM.

Today, we are announcing our intent to combine with Hunger Intervention Program (HIP), another leading North Seattle nonprofit addressing food insecurity, to form North Seattle Food Connection, expanding food access and community support in North Seattle. No-Cook Meal Bags Ingredients Needed 🥫

At North Helpline we distribute No-Cook Meal Bags to our neighbors without access to a stove or a refrigerator. These resources are essential for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We’re running low on No-Cook Bag ingredients:

Pop-top high protein soup or chili, applesauce or fruit cup, granola or protein bar, jerky, beverage, and chips.

We have a new truck! 🚚

This truck was made possible by the generosity of our community in our end-of-year campaign. It took some time as it had to be specially designed to fit behind our Lake City building. Our friends at Pierre Isuzu of Everett took great care of us! We’re excited to use it for our grocery rescue program and transferring food between our Lake City and Bitter Lake sites. Thank you all who made this possible!

Come to our Lake City Food Bank on Friday July 10th from 12pm-4pm and enjoy FREE FOOD and LIVE PERFORMANCES while celebrating our Lake City community!

📍 Where: 12736 33rd Ave NE - Right outside of our Lake City location!
👤 Who: This fun event is for our community: neighbors, kids, volunteers, and supporters are all welcome.

Oh, this party is TOTALLY FREE so spread the word, and come celebrate our community over a shared meal and shared laughter. The Block Party is in partnership with the Neighborhood Matching Fund.
