Love you some Dim Sum? This spotlight on Beacon BBQ by the Emerald helps us reveal to a wider community how lucky we are to have two options, as Dim Sum House is located in the same commercial ’node’ just south of Columbian Way on Beacon Ave S (mid-Beacon Hill).

REVIEW | For Grace Madigan, few things are as holy as dim sum. At Beacon B.B.Q. on Beacon Hill, the experience looks a little different from the traditional service she treasures — but that's part of its charm.

Think fluffy steamed char siu bao, meat-packed har gow and shumai, greasy and delicious Cantonese-style noodles, barbecue pork chopped to order, and a no-frills setup that recalls the "good ol' days" of Seattle dim sum.

It's an "if you know, you know" neighborhood spot where regulars come in knowing exactly what they want.
