Washington importers have already paid an estimated $1.7 BILLION in Trump tariffs. That’s about $2,200+ for every household in our state.
That’s higher costs on cars, everyday goods, and products Washingtonians rely on.
Washingtonians are already stretched thin and can’t afford to keep paying for Trump’s terrible policies.

Wildfires aren’t just a threat to our forests, wildlife, and communities, but they are now driving up costs for Washingtonians.
Utilities are spending hundreds of millions to protect power grids and communities from the wildfires, but that bill is left to us.
We need to invest in wildfire prevention before the disaster strikes.

When power lines are blamed for starting a wildfire, costs to utilities can stretch into the billions and trickle down to consumers.

Small businesses in Blaine and Point Robers are already struggling as Canadian visitors are visiting less and less. It doesn’t help that Trump’s escalating tariffs are bringing even more uncertainty and higher costs. Many fear their business will have to close their doors.

Trump and the WA GOP’s “Big Ugly Bill” will hit more than 600,000 Washingtonians with new requirements to keep their Apple Health coverage, and more than 200,000 are about to lose coverage by the end of 2027.

What does that mean?
❌ Washingtonians losing access to care
❌ Rural hospitals and community clinics taking a hit or even shutting down
❌ Higher costs across our health care system

Gov. Bob Ferguson signed an executive order Thursday aimed at helping thousands of Washington patients who could soon lose Medicaid coverage.

The Seattle Times Editorial Board is joining us in opposing I-638 this Nov.
I-638 would ban transgender girls from competing in girls’ school sports and require all students to provide healthcare-provider verification of their biological s*x.

We are standing with our transgender and nonbinary community and every student who deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
This Nov. vote NO on I-638.

If this were a “Washington problem“ it would be worth studying as a pressing issue to be resolved by the electorate, informed with science. But it is not.

Yikes. The WA GOP really saw “Protect Head Start” and decided helping working parents was the problem…
Head Start helps kids learn, gives parents the freedom to work and improve our economy, and makes child care more accessible for families.
Supporting parents means giving them all the necessary resources to be successful. Not tell them they’re on their own.

A federal judge has yet again said no to the Trump-Vance admin. They have tried to hijack state elections, seize voters’ personal information, and stop ballots from being delivered and counted.
Our elections belong to the people, not Trump. And we’ll fight like hell to keep it that way.

The move comes as the Trump administration appeals a related order to the Supreme Court.

This should be clear: if you voted, your vote deserved to be counted.
A record number of WA ballots went uncounted after the August primary due to late postmarks. The Trump-Vance admin changed postmarking from local post offices to regional processing centers. WA election officials are taking action on this. The SOS is investing $400k to educate voters about using official drop boxes and more than $350k to help counties add new boxes and reprint ballot envelopes.
This Nov., as soon as you get your ballot, fill it out and return it the same day! Use an official dropbox to return your ballot!
